About Kadie

Hi there, I’m Kadie, a home decor enthusiast and public domain art curator. When I’m not blogging, working as a professional photographer, snuggling with my daughter Verity or my husband Joe. I love sharing about our life, and the home we’re creating together in Huntsville Alabama.

I love Agatha Christie novels, pumpkin bread, watching old reruns of Murder She Wrote, vintage swing dancing and wandering around antique stores for hours.

What You Can Expect To Find On My Website

On this site you’ll find links to my Public Domain Print Shop, as well as posts for DIY tutorials, thrifting tips, my favorite books I’m reading, updates on our most recent home renovations and a little bit of real life sprinkled in along the way.

Why I Started This Website

I originally started this site to share about the renovations my husband and I were doing to our 1920s craftsman bungalow, but it has grown into so much more since then.

Growing up with a mother who owned a craft store and a father who taught me how to DIY everything from car maintenance to building a house, combined with a bachelor’s degree in art and a love for interior design has given me a unique set of skills that I’m passionate about sharing with others.

Because everyone deserves a beautiful home. No matter their budget.

Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet and I hope you enjoy your stay!
