I recently hosted a Ralph Lauren inspired backyard bonfire party for a few friends and the star of the party was this giant s’mores grazing table I created entirely out of sweet and savory s’mores charcuterie that our guests could roast over the campfire.

I had a lot of requests for more details about the table, so in this post I want to break down exactly how I created it. Then I’ll share all the supplies I used and even some of our favorite s’mores combinations our guests created with the ingredients I supplied.

Supplies Needed For Setting Up A S’mores Bar
Before you start placing food, it helps to map out the base of your s’mores grazing table with the right supplies. I like to set all my serving pieces on the table first so I can play with placement and heights before adding anything to eat.
Table Covering
Any tablecloth will work as the first layer of our foundation and start things off with a little texture. (But feel free to think outside the box and get creative with it, because a “tablecloth” can be made from all sorts of things.) For our s’mores party, I actually spread a vintage plaid blanket diagonally across an outdoor picnic table to lean into the vintage ralph lauren vibes I wanted for the party.

Collection Of Vintage Serving Platters & Silverware
Every great tablescape begins with a mix of platters, bowls, and vessels. I always recommend having a collection of different shapes, sizes, and heights so you can create a layout that looks full and layered.

Serving Dishes Of Various Heights
Raised cake stands, tiered trays, or even a bowl tucked under a platter can instantly give your table more visual interest. The variation in levels also makes it easier to nestle pieces together and fit more onto the table.

Serving Dishes Of Various Sizes
If you want your grazing table to look luxurious and high end, you want each element to appear to be bountiful and almost overflowing its container. This means you need a collection of serving dishes that will allow you to place your food item in a vessel that is *just the right size*.
Too big a serving platter can make your food look less substantial, while too small a dish won’t hold enough for your guests

Serving Dishes Of Various Shapes
Finally having a selection of serving platters, bowls, dishes, and vessels of various shapes will also add a lot of visual interest to a table.
Two of my favorite dishes in my collection currently are these long skinny platters. They work so well for displaying such a wide variety of smaller food items that would look a lot less exciting on a big round platter.

Where To Find Vintage Serving Ware
If you’re curious where to find all these dishes of various height, shapes and sizes to use when setting up a tablescape, these are my go-to, budget-friendly sources:

Thrift Stores
As an avid thrifter I have sourced nearly all my tablescape supplies from local thrift shops over the years. If you’re curious to learn more about thrifting, or my secrets for consistently finding the best stuff at the thrift store I have a great blog post here all about that.
Estate Sales
Another great place to score amazing deals on serving ware is estate sales. While estate sales can be *slightly* more expensive than the thrift shop, they are great for finding large complete sets of dishes and serving ware. If you’re not sure where to find estate sales near you, how they work, or just how to start shopping them I wrote this beginners guide to estate sale shopping for you.
Online Shops & Vintage Resellers
If you don’t have the time or ability to shop local thrift shops or estate sales, you can also find some great deals on vintage serving ware online! Shopgoodwill.com, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay and Etsy are usually my go to online shopping sources for inexpensive, second hand vintage goods.
Don’t Forget The Roasting Sticks
You can’t serve s’mores without a way to roast all the ingredients over the fire! I’ve used just about every type of roasting stick on the market and have broken down all my findings for the best marshmallow roasting sticks over here in this blog post for you!

Ingredients You’ll Need For Your Sweet & Savory S’mores Grazing Table
While you can serve any combination of items you like on your s’more charcuterie bar, I wanted to keep mine as easy as possible with ready-made items I could just pop into a pretty dish. Here’s everything I used to create mine (most of which I was able to find at Aldi):
The Dessert S’mores Charcuterie
For this section of the table I decided to focus on fruits, having a few different cookie options other than graham crackers and a variety of chocolate.

We had several guests who are either allergic to dairy (and therefore can’t do chocolate) or just dislike the taste of chocolate. So I wanted to ensure we had a lot of non-chocolate options.

Marshmallows
- Large Marshmallows
- Marshmallow Fluff
Chocolates
- Dark Chocolate
- Milk Chocolate
Cookies
- Graham Crackers
- Biscoff Cookies
- Butter Waffle Cookies
- Dark Chocolate Backed Butter Cookies
- Dark Chocolate Covered Wafers
- Stroopwafels
Fruit
- Strawberries
- Peaches
The S’mores Bar Jams, Sauces & Spreads
Of all the things we added to the table, I think having a various assortment of jams and spreads was the biggest factor in making this grazing table such a big hit with our guests.

Instead of just plopping the jars on the table, I decanted them into some silver and glass sugar bowls I’ve collected, removed any ugly labels, and served them on a tray with vintage butter knives and spoons.

- Fig Jam
- Lemon Curd
- Pumpkin Pie Spread
- This is the only thing I “made” by mixing a can of pumpkin puree with 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice and 1/8th cup brown sugar
- A Can of Apple Pie Filling
- Honey
The Savoy S’mores Charcuterie
I had never even heard of savory s’mores until I started researching ideas for this s’more charcuterie bar, but it was love at first Pinterest when I saw them in my feed.

I was worried the prosciutto and mozzarella roll-ups would be hard to get on the roasting stick but they turned out to be a guest favorite!

Cheese
- Brie Bites
- Baby Bell
- Mascarpone
Meats
- Bite Size Dry Salami
- Smoked Prosciutto Pinwheels
Crackers
- Cranberry & Sea Salt Crisps
- Butter Crackers
- Sea Salt Crackers
- Saltines
Download A Printable Shopping Checklist
To make things even easier for you, I created a printable shopping list you can download and take with you to the store!
This list includes everything I used to create our s’mores charcuterie bar including which of the items I was able to find at Aldi and which ones I had to find elsewhere!

Final Thoughts
I love that this s’mores charcuterie bar turned out to be more than just a Pinterest worthy way to feed people and actually became the highlight of our bonfire party, with guests coming up with new flavor pairings, calling out their discoveries, and sending everyone else scrambling back to the s’mores board to taste the latest combo. Best of all, it could not have been easier. Nearly every ingredient for this s’mores grazing table came straight from a box or package and onto a plate with no prep at all!
(Oh, and if you need a drink to go with your s’mores table, this apple cider punch we served along with everything was a big hit as well.)
But now I need to know, what ingredients am I missing that I should include for next time!? Because there will definitely be a next time. Let me know in the comments below what I need to add to my s’more charcuterie board in the future!
