A few weeks ago I was brainstorming different ideas for where to go from here with The Public Domain Print Shop, and immediately an idea popped in my head that I’ve been obsessed with ever since: Artbounding.
If you’re not a hardcore Disney fan, this may make no sense to you. But the quick explanation is that, for various reasons, adults are not allowed to wear costumes into Disney’s amusement parks, so instead die hard fans have begun doing what has become to be known as “Disneybounding” where they wear normal everyday outfits inspired by their favorite Disney characters. And I thought, how fun would that be to do with vintage artwork!? Curate special mini collections of free art in the public domain that are a subtle homage to various classic stories?
And I knew exactly which story I wanted to start with: Beauty & The Beast.

I love this!!! Reminds me of how Design Sponge used to do “living in” series–Royal Tenenbaums, Pride and Prejudice, etc. and pick out decor pieces that gave the vibe. This one is great!!
What a fun collection! Thank you so much for the time you put into this – it’s greatly appreciated!
