Print Shop Artbound: Beauty & The Beast

A few weeks ago I was brainstorming different ideas for where to go from here with The Public Domain Print Shop, and immediately an idea popped in my head that I’ve been obsessed with ever since: Artbounding.

If you’re not a hardcore Disney fan, this may make no sense to you. But the quick explanation is that, for various reasons, adults are not allowed to wear costumes into Disney’s amusement parks, so instead die hard fans have begun doing what has become to be known as “Disneybounding” where they wear normal everyday outfits inspired by their favorite Disney characters. And I thought, how fun would that be to do with vintage artwork!? Curate special mini collections of free art in the public domain that are a subtle homage to various classic stories?

And I knew exactly which story I wanted to start with: Beauty & The Beast.

So it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I invite you to relax, pull up a chair as The Public Domain Print Shop proudly presents:

Beauty & The Beast: A Public Domain Print Shop Artbound

I had such a good time curating this collection that I can’t wait to do more of these! So if you have a story you’d like to see me “artbound” in the future, let me know in the comments below!

NOTE: The images in this gallery are low resolution preview images only and therefore not suitable for printing, to download a HIGH RESOLUTION FILE of any of the images below for free, simply click on the desired image and you will be taken to the digital gallery archive where that image is hosted. Once there, you will be able to download a high resolution file of your image to print from.
